This class was a very fun and helpful class and it was the best possible way to get college credit(hopefully). I will display here the answers to the question that Mr.Thomas is dying to know the answers to.
1- The essay I found most difficult to write was most definitely the argumentation. I found it quite difficult to think up examples to use in my writing. This is most likely due to poor preparation on my part but I'll blame it on the teacher for the sake of this blog post.
2- The easiest essay was the rhetorical analysis. If you have any level of knowledge regarding rhetorical devices it was quite easy to craft an essay analyzing these within 30 minutes.
3- The book I enjoyed the most was The Things They Carried due to the fact that it was the most interesting and most modern.
4- The novel I enjoyed the least was The Crucible just because I genuinely had very little interest in it.
5- I would like for you to know that I really enjoyed the class and that you should keep doing what you do.
Thank you for a great year!

The Things I Carry
The things I carry are very important to me and they make me who I am. None of them are more important than the other because they are all very personal and I can't live without them. Here's a list of these items that I carry everyday:
Physically, I must always have my wallet on me. If I don't have my wallet I feel naked, alone, and depressed. I can't live without it because it contains all my money, my driver's license, and all other important cards that I need. If for whatever reason I lost my wallet, I would be in a bad place until I could find it or replace everything inside of it.
The goal I carry is to be a successful software engineer and possibly a technological innovator. I keep this goal in order to keep myself on track. If I don't stay on track I will not be able to reach this goal. I don't know why this is what I want to do with my life but it always just felt right.
A relationship I hold close to my heart is the one with my dog, Zoey. She doesn't have a significant character trait or anything too special about her except for the fact that she is always there when I'm down. My dog has an impact on me because she gives me something to worry about and care for. I also care about my super model girlfriend Kate Upton.
My personality is one that I think is unique to me. I want people to look back and remember me as someone that was different in a good way and that you could talk to. I don't know how people think of me but I carry this weight to ensure that it's a positive opinion.
A personal memory that I have to carry that greatly shapes who I am is the memory of my Grandfather. He was a good man that lost the battle to pancreatic cancer 3 years ago. Before he died he told me what he expected of me and that is my driving force to this day. He is the reason why I am where I am today and where I'll be in the future.
Those are things I carry. Thankyou for reading.

Blog Post #4
Living in a nation where there is so much diversity, many families prefer to retain the identities of their homeland by practicing the culture mainly from that place. For example, people from Asian nations such as the Chinese or many Islam practicing cultures come to America and continue to practice their own customs and religion.

My idea of accomplishing this is that the children should not be disrespectful of their parents culture and retain some to most of what their parents teach them but look to find their own way through the freedom that Americans possess. If your parents do not allow such treachery the only thing you can do is wait until you're 18 and you can do what you want unless you don't mind getting in trouble for what you believe in.
In conclusion, due to America being such a ridiculously diverse place everyone has the opportunity to find their own way and break away from the culture they were born into.

Edgar Allan Poe is a legendary writer that created masterpieces like "The Fall of the House of Usher", "The Raven", and "The Tell-Tale Heart." All of these works of art would change literature forever and are awesomely influential on today's writings and even movies and TV shows. There are so many thing to love about "The Fall of the House of Usher", in particular, but there are also a few things that I would change about it.
I will start with everything I loved about the story. First, the imagery Poe uses is crazy good. How he describes the house is really good at creating the setting for the story. Next, I absolutely and utterly enjoyed how he mingled the art with reality in the story. It was such a cool concept that only a literary genius could of done so well at. I also liked how the narrator was nameless and mysterious. You knew not much of his past but it almost seemed as if he solely exists strictly to narrate the story. It's really sweet how Poe doesn't care what he throws in his story that might gross you out or creep you out. For example, the (implied) incestuous relationship between Roderick and his sister although the things that imply this could have completely different meanings. The final element I notably enjoyed was the ending to the story. The ending was a perfect combo between suspense and mystery.
These are all the things (listed in the paragraph above) that I would use in a story, if I had to write one similar to Poe's. The reason I would use these in my story is because those are the key elements that work together to make this such a legendary creation. You can't point one of those elements out and expect the story to have the same meaning without it there.
In the end, Edgar Allan Poe wrote an absolute work of art that should not be changed in any way shape or form. My task was to simply pick out the best things that he did and I think that I did a pretty good job. Thank you for your time.

Blog Post #2
Americans have always been quick to judge leaders when mistakes are made. It's in our nature to judge these leaders because we haven't always been able to trust some of them in our past. There is on leader in particular that I think was too quickly shunned and hated. That leader's name is George Bush.

When I look back, all I see is what could of been if George Bush hadn't been so quickly judged. You've got to feel sorry for the man. Having to deal with 9/11 8 months after walking into office kinda sucks. If he hadn't been so quickly judged I can't say much would of changed.
George Walker Bush made the best of his situation by trying to push forward through his presidency. I think he did a fairly good job for the judgement that was unreasonably forced upon him. He may not be the smartest guy and may of grown up with money but he also had to deal with Bill Clinton's mistakes and deal with a very judgmental nation.
I can sympathize will good-ol' George Bush because there was nothing he could of done to stop from being judged so quickly. In conclusion, nothing would of changed if the judgement wasn't placed.

Anti-Hero Blog Post
Dexter Morgan is a serial killer in the show "Dexter." This sounds absolutely terrible and makes it seem like he should be the antagonist of the show, except what makes him the anti-hero is the fact that he kills for good reasons. He only murders other murderers as retribution.
Ichabod Crane is one of literature's earliest anti-heroes. He is one of those protagonists that you love to hate, due to his manipulative, dark nature. If anyone actually knew this man in real life they would probably be prone to not being his friend due to his disgusting nature.
Both Dexter Morgan and Ichabod Crane are anti-heroes because they have dark, twisted minds and manipulate other people to gain an advantage. For example, Ichabod Crane uses Katrina Von Tassel in order to acquire her father's money so he can live a comfortable life. While Dexter uses his significant other to cover up for his lack of emotion and create a perfect cover up for the murders he performes.
Anti-Heroes are one of the most interesting and fun archetypes to watch or read in literature/media due to their uniqueness and how they go about progressing the story. Ichabod Crane and Dexter Morgan are no different and this is what makes them interesting.
